Lead a team to develop and deliver the Asset Management Program, maintenance tactics and process delivery via the WMS. Oversee and manage planning, development, evaluation and implementation of the Asset Management and WMS strategic program. Document and support the long-term strategies, principles, and direction for managing client assets. Sustain a governance framework for the Agency’s Asset Management Program with multi-disciplinary management techniques (technical, financial, and community-based). Promote the long-term sustainability of managing assets, while balancing community needs and maximizing financial resources. Lead and direct stakeholder relations, consultations, engagement, risk and issues management, and facilitation and to oversee partnership and consensus building. Provide expertise and advice to OCWA in continuing to imbed the WMS program in all Operations and Maintenance services delivered as well as a focus on interconnections with other applications utilized to make key business decisions in direct support of Operations and supporting business groups. Collaborate with business groups, specifically Operations, to enhance and implement continual improvements related to asset management data stewardship, maintenance services and long term planning.

Wastewater Treatment Operator Primary Duties The Wastewater Treatment Operator operates and monitors all City owned Wastewater Treatment Facilities and pumping stations. They will maintain wastewater facilities in compliance with applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor treatment plan and facility processes and record activities consistent with regulatory requirements. Complete Chain of Custody documentation and delivery of samples to lab for analysis. Identify non-compliances and report any spills or overflow events. Respond to alarms, troubleshoot and rectify issues as they arise. Evaluate trends and identify visual and audible abnormalities to determine process performance. Take appropriate corrective action to address incidents of non-compliance and deviations from design objectives. Identify and propose improvements to operational plans, procedures, workflow processes and infrastructure. Review internal and external facility testing results and determine treatment efficiency, identify potential process issues and administer the appropriate operational changes. Conduct routine maintenance checks on facility equipment and notify appropriate stakeholders of issues or required repairs. Comply with all health and safety requirements, maintain a safe work environment, report hazards and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
