WETEX is the Middle-East and North Africa region’s largest Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). The exhibition attracts 2,100 exhibitors, and 35,000 visitors from over 53 countries. WETEX serves as a global platform for exhibitors to show the latest solutions in conventional and renewable energy, water, sustainability, and conservation. It is a platform for companies to promote their products and services, meet decision-makers, investors, buyers and interested parties. Ontario companies will have the unique opportunity to make deals, review the latest technologies, and learn about current and future projects across the water and energy conservation sector. The purpose of the mission is to help Ontario companies promote their products and services, meet key business players, governmental stakeholders and business associations from the cleantech sector.
The Ontario government has booked 42 square meters for the Ontario pavilion in the Canada section to accommodate up to 10 Ontario companies in an open-concept booth.
In addition to your exhibit at WETEX 2022, the mission program in Dubai will incorporate a sector briefing, and pre-arranged B2B meetings in Dubai.

- The Water & Clean Tech sector is one of the most relevant sectors for Ontario companies. This sector is also specified as a priority area for the Middle East/ GCC and Africa country governments and the private sectors, due to climatic conditions, high energy usage, increasing commitment of governments and new private entrants as solution providers. The countries in the GCC and Africa feature many common drivers for renewable energy, such as high population growth, and a dramatic increase in demand for electricity.
