DIGITAL SALES ACTIVATION: VIRTUAL CLEANTECH TRADE MISSION TO MEXICO
January 25-29, 2021
Why we are going
Mexico is the second largest economy in Latin America with a GDP of $1.15 trillion in 2017. It is one of Canada´s key trading partners since the ratification of NAFTA in 1994 and the relationship has recently been strengthened by the CUSMA agreement in effect since July of this year.
The recent liberalization of the energy sector and environmental regulations are encouraging the entry of new players to address energy inefficiencies, water treatment and waste management solutions in the Mexican market.
Environmental technologies in Mexico are expected to experience a steady growth over the next years with forecasted investments of over 123.4 billion dollars to achieve energy generation objectives and clean technologies by 2030.
