MEA recently finalized publishing its new Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) User Guide (September 2023). It replaces its former MCEA Manual. This is as a result of the major amendment to the MEA's Class EA that was approved by the Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks earlier this year on March 3, 2023. The new guide includes appended notes to the Class EA document provided interpretation, advice, and tips to practitioners.
