Summary of Duties: Reporting to the Division Manager, Water Operations, the Manager, Water Quality is the designated person under the Safe Drinking Water Act for the Corporations compliance responsibilities as it relates to the Drinking Water Quality Management System and day-to-day monitoring of drinking water to ensure compliance under Ontario Regulation 170. This position works in a team environment along side other environmental specialists in the formulation of short- and long-term water quality workplans, budgets, policy analysis and development, and related business plans and initiatives. The Manager, Water Quality works with technical staff to deliver the programs and provides water quality expertise on City projects, as required, in conjunction with other City Project/Program Managers.
