In the years since the Walkerton Inquiry first introduced source water protection requirements to Ontario, Toronto Water's source water protection responsibilities have steadily increased to a point that a dedicated position for Source Water Protection Advisor has been created. The Source Water Protection Advisor will be responsible for fulfilling Toronto Water's source protection commitments.
