Do I have to be an member of OWWA to join a committee?

Yes, you or your organization needs to be a member of OWWA to join a committee.

Can I join more than one committee?

Yes. Many members participate in multiple committees, depending on their interests and availability. Just ensure you can contribute meaningfully to each group you join.

How do I sign up for a committee?

To join a committee, fill out the Committee Volunteer Application form available on the OWWA Committees page. Once submitted, your information will be forwarded to the committee chair, who will contact you with next steps.

Are there leadership opportunities within committees?

Yes. Committees are typically led by a Chair and Vice-Chair, and may have subcommittees. Active members may be invited to take on leadership roles or help coordinate events and initiatives.
