WWT Operator 2

Reporting to the Wastewater Supervisor, Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Operator 2 performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of all WWT and collection facilities operated by the Town. The position is responsible for effective plant operations, ensuring compliance, legislation, guidelines, and policies have been met. Duties involve participating in an after-hours emergency stand-by rotation, responding to alarms, being assigned temporary Overall Responsibility Operator responsibilities on a rotating basis, Operator-In-Charge (OIC) responsibilities, and providing mentoring and training to Operator 1 and OIT staff.
